Zoological Park of Paris

  The Zoological Park of Paris (known as Zoo de Vincennes) lies on 15 hectares. It belongs to the Paris 12th district, near the Bois de Vincennes.

The Big Rock is open since March 1997 mountains animals like mouflons, markhors, otters and vultures live on or around it. A new Nocturama introduces the nocturn Lemurs.


  Wildlife 
1200 animals live in the Zoological Park of Paris, 600 birds of 82 species, 535 mammals of 85 species, among them very rare animals like the giant panda. Most of the animals living in the Park belong to nearly extinct species, their natural environment having been destroyed. The missions of our park are conservation and reproduction, we've got 150 births a year.

Summertime: from 9 am to 6pm (6.30pm on the sunday and bank holidays)
