The National Museum of Folk Art, in association with the Center for French Anthropological studies (CNRS) is dedicated to the everyday life in France, since the year 1000 until the present times. Ajacent to the museum, the Jardin d'Acclimatation, constitutes a fun and parc environment. The CollectionThe permanent collection offers a synthetic view of french traditional society from the Revolution until the Second World War, with special attention on crafts and rural life: agricultural technics, regional furniture, costumes, poteries...
Major temporary exhibits are held regularly giving the public a chance to view collections exceptionally brought together for the occasion, or to reflect on past and present problems crucial to our society.
